  • Set/Location of the production:

The location of Jeremy is based in a studio with an Audience, the studio is based in Manchester in a place called Media City UK. The audience find this location very warming as the audience is very close to the action, the producers chose this location as it is easier for people to get to that are a lower class, seeing as the majority of people on this show are from a lower class background.
  • Colour and tone used within the show
The tone used in this segment of Jeremy Kyle, the bright blue is very typical and represents the show very much, from the very first episode to current the blue background has been very iconic to what Jeremy Kyle is. The colour is not so in your face and not so dull, so in my opinion the colour of blue is the perfect colour for the show. The audience would respond positively to the colour within the show as the colour blue represents calmness and the colour isn't dull in any way.
  • Hair and Make Up
Make up and hair in this show is varied, the show allows guests to come and not everyone has the same look. The presenter Jeremy Kyle has his make up done and his hair styled to look good but the guests come into the show with there own look
  • Clothes
The clothes the guests where are from there own personal home, there aren't any set clothes for them to wear, this is the same as Jeremy as he decides to look presentable by wearing a suit. The show is very typical for people to be dressed badly.

  • Presenters performance
The presenter Jeremy Kyle presents himself as formal and the leader by wearing a suit, in the show he speaks the truth and helps the guests problems. Jeremy is the reason most people watch the show however the occasional odd guest help the shows entertainment.

  • Shot Types
The shot types throughout Jeremy Kyle is normally a close up or medium shot, the reason for a close up is so you can see the expression on the guests faces, the passion and realness of the show is really determined by the guests actions and especially there facial expressions and what they say. A medium shot is normally in place to see Jeremy and the Audience or to see the whole set.
  • Positioning
The positioning of the camera is set to portray an interview setting, there will be two or more chairs located in the middle of the stage. The reason of the chairs being in the middle of the stage, is because the guests are the most important people in the show, the audience want to see the everyone involved and what happens whilst they are on the stage.
  • Movement
There are a lot of movement within this show as guests tend to walk away from the stage, to get away from the situation. Once someone ventures backstage, a cameramen would use a track shot to follow the guest wherever he goes.
